Working at Witton Middle School is stimulating and extremely varied. Teaching Assistants (2 posts)
- Do you have a commitment to ensuring all pupils access and flourish through an education of the highest quality?
- Are you able to support children with meeting their physical and emotional needs?
- Are you able to support our classroom teachers to raise standards, working with pupils with varying additional needs?
- Do you exhibit an approach to behaviour management that works with pupils' strengths and supports them to meet our high expectations?
- Do you have experience of working with children with ASD, ADHD, attachment disorders or Acute Childhood Trauma?
- Are you interested in working with children for whom English is an additional language?
We have two vacancies are are seeking candidates with GCSE (or equivalent) English and mathematics at grade 4 or above, who hold positive values, can work as part of a team and have experience of being a Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 or 3.
Our curriculum is designed to create confident, curious and collaborative individuals who will make a difference in the world. As a middle school catering for children in years 5, 6 and 7, we provide an effective bridge between first and high school. Our children receive expert teaching and benefit from excellent specialist facilities which foster increasing levels of independence in learning.
The successful candidates will have a positive, enthusiastic outlook, have a sense of humour and willingness to deal with difficult situations in a calm and sensitive manner.
