Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo)

Do you have experience supporting students with SEN?  Witton Middle School are seeking to appoint an exceptional, highly motivated, experienced qualified teacher as SENDCo to start in September 2023 (or sooner for suitable applicant).


The successful applicant will work closely with Trust and School leaders to determine the strategic development of SEND provision in school.  You will be an experienced teacher with a proven track record of success and will hold the National Award in Special Educational Needs Co-ordination or be willing to complete this upon commencement into post.


You will have a strategic overview of provision for students with SEND, monitoring and reviewing the quality of that provision while taking on responsibility for the day-to-day operation and co-ordination of provision for individual students.  The post will include a regular teaching commitment; of no more than 13 hours per week.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
