Meet Mrs Darby: Vocal teacher at Witton
Claire has been working as an actress and singer for more than 25 years and has been teaching singing for the past 15 years. She trained for three years at Birmingham School of Speech and Drama with an additional short course in television acting at RADA.

Claire has worked in the diverse areas of theatre, television, film and concert halls in performances ranging from musical theatre, opera and pop music to Shakespeare and contemporary drama and has appeared internationally for Incognito Artists at venues including The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and The British Embassy, Dubai. She is resident vocalist with The West Midlands Light Orchestra and is a founder member of the 1930/40s vocal quartet Berkeley Square. She has performed for numerous celebrities and royalty including Elton John and Prince Edward.
