Citizenship Learning Award

This learning award booklet will enable pupils to keep track of the skills they use across a wide range of subjects as well as outside of lessons. It provides pupils with opportunities to develop their ‘CHARACTER.’ Your character is who you are. It is what makes you…YOU. It is what you believe and how you act with others when on your own. It is your values and virtues. Having positive character traits helps pupils to be good citizens within their community both inside and outside of school.

To complete this award, pupils are challenged to develop their character through undertaking a range of activities. They are expected to evidence these activities in their citizenship booklet; moving through the BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD categories. When pupils have evidenced at least 7 activities in each category, they are awarded their badge and certificate.
