French Club

French Club starts on Tuesday 21st September from 3pm - 4pm.  We will be doing activities, games and songs to practice our French.  If you would like to attend, please ask your parents/carers to sign you up on Parent pay.

Autumn Term 2020

Some of the things we are learning this term:

We learn how to talk about where we live

We will learn about some Francophone (French speaking) countries

We will learn to use different parts of the verb être and regular 'er' verbs

We will develop our listening skills so that we can pick out key details from a listening task

We will use some more complex language in creating a description of a place

Links with Droitwich High School

We are developing a link with the Modern Foreign Languages Department at Droitwich High school in order to enhance the provision of Languages teaching at Witton, and to help pupils make a smooth transition in their language learning when they move up to the High School.

Although we cannot visit Droitwich High school we hope to enable some year 9s from Droitwich High School to lead a languages taster session via video link for year 7 classes sometime during the Autumn term.
