Kirstie has been playing the piano since the age of 6 and the cello since the age of 8. Gripped with the passion for her instruments she attended Trinity College of Music in London as a junior, from the age of 10-18 years where she continue specialising on the piano and cello. Kirstie then went on to Birmingham Conservatoire where she obtained a BMus(Hons) degree and then later a Masters degree. After the conservatoire Kirstie studied at Worcester university where she obtained a PGCE in secondary music. Since the age of 18 she has been teaching the piano and cello, both privately and in schools.
In her spare time she loves travelling, walking her dog and spending time with her family.

Kirstie is excited to start teaching at Witton Middle School and will be helping run a string group during lunchtime.
