Year 5 Learning
Welcome to the Year 5 Home and School Learning Page!
Thank you to all of you who have engaged in the home learning over the last few months- Yes, it really has been that long! Now that the government has announced that, in addition to Year 5 key worker's children, Year 6 will return to school, we will make sure that those of you who are still at home will not be disadvantaged by the learning offered to those at school. For this reason, we have adjusted the lessons to be the same for Year 5 pupils at school as it is at home.
See the diagram below to see your new weekly expectations:
The links to each week are below and when you click those links, you will find the each subject; remember, every day, complete maths, English and outdoor learning then choose one of the extra foundation subjects to complete (there is one for each day of the week).
SHARING YOUR WORK
You will be expected to upload the weekly writing English task with your teacher via Epraise; the task your teacher wants you to share will be added to Epraise as homework and identified on here (see English page). In addition to this, you have the option to upload another piece of work that you would like your teacher to see on a daily basis.
Here is a reminder of how to submit your work:

Stay calm, stay focused and keep learning - it will really help if you have a set timetable of your own to combat boredom and ensure the tasks are completed. I have adjusted the example below to reflect the new expectations:
