Gabrielle Stacey, Assistant Director for SEND and Vulnerable Learners within Worcestershire Children First, has written an open letter to parents/carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Please see the letter below for parents/carers of children with Special Educational Needs, from Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust.
The letter sets out the different services that are available to offer support and advice for children who are finding the school closures difficult, or who may become distressed when it is time to return.
Special Educational Needs at Witton Middle School
Witton Middle School is a mainstream setting and is committed to meeting the needs of all pupils including those with disabilities and special educational needs. There is a shared expectation that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, should be offered inclusive teaching which will enable them to make the best possible progress in school and feel that they are a valued member of the wider school community.

Autism and ADHD
Autism and ADHD are separate conditions that can share some symptoms. There are key differences between them, and a person can have both conditions. Please take a look at the booklets below for more information on autism and ADHD.
I CAN have produced some resources to support parents and carers with children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
