Friday 18th March 2022

Over the last few weeks we have been busy bees.  We have enjoyed taking part in: the Poetry Slam with Spoz; looking at meteors as part of World book day and many of our children have been successfully  representing the school in sporting events.  In lessons we have been learning about cells in science and studying the slave trade in history.  Have a look at our hall of fame for the excellent work that the children have been doing in Art and DT. Also, great work has earnt us headteacher awards- take a look.

Well done to 7QM for the following achievements:

*  Jessie, Evie, Lily-Rose, Sophie O all achieved a place in the top 10 in the School's cross country competition.

*  Headteacher awards went to Becca, Liam, Sam and Leo F for researching African countries

*  7QM worked well as a team to rise us to third in TTRS. We started the week in 5th!

*  Epraise chart toppers this month are Samuel and Lily W.

EVERYONE has achieved their 'Amber Award' for 50 epraise points.  Many students now have their emerald award for 125 points.  Jessie and Lily W have achieved their Sapphire (250 EP)

*  7QM are still FIRST in the year group, having achieved an average of 234.1 epraise points per pupil. Keep up the brilliant work!

  2. Water bottles - please ensure you have a water bottle that you can refill throughout the day in order to stay hydrated.
  3. Uniform - in order maintain high standards, we expect you to come to school in full uniform or PE kit on PE days. Please ask parents to contact your teacher if there is a reason for missing or alternative uniform.

  4. Equipment - you are required to provide your own equipment (blue pen, pencil, red pen, ruler, eraser, sharpener and glue stick). It is essential that you come to school prepared for lessons.

  5. Homework - please see your epraise planner for your individual expectations. Where logins and passwords are required, you must record your details somewhere safe or if forgotten, contact your teacher before the due date.
