Welcome to 7JC's class page

Monday 28th September 2020

Hi 7JC,

Week 4 already!

Looking back on our learning journey so far...

We have been exploring our ever-changing world in geography; starting with life during the last Ice Age and how this contributed to the formation of glaciers. In history, we have ventured back to the 1600’s when King Charles I triggered The English Civil War. You have been creating questions, researching and reflecting on the causes and consequences of this historical event. To compliment your history, you have been analysing royal portraits in art and looking at the work of Anthony van Dyck, who painted King Charles I. In DT, you have enjoyed learning how to prepare and present a nutritious meal - starting with a delicious deli salad.

It is amazing how far you have come in just over a month! Keep up the hard work in all subjects particularly maths and English, where I know you have been working hard to catch up on the learning you missed out on during lockdown.

I will be adding photos of your fabulous work and achievements on here every week - so keep an eye out as it could be yours.

Well done to Brandon, who received a head teachers award and Evie, Andrea, Isaac and Lily, who were nominated as the winners of the 7JC Friday celebration last week. Who will be recognised this week?
