Welcome to 5CW's class page
Well done for completing your first week learning from home/getting used to the new timetable/classes at school. So many of you are still earning your epraise points through fabulous contributions to online lessons and super work that you are completing and saving. Make sure you have a look on Microsoft Teams and become familiar with where everything is kept. Let us know if you are still struggling to find work/can't access documents and we can help you locate them. Don't forget we are still here via epraise so please message us on there if you have any questions or need any help with anything. No worry is too big or too small!
I am teaching a PE lesson today, which is a bit new to me, busting some moves out for dance. I'm looking forward to seeing lots of art work for tomorrow's lesson. We have a lot of talented artists in 5CW! I'm also going to be joining in with a bit of French tomorrow as well, so I best get practising, 'bonjour...un...deux...trois!'
Hope you enjoy what you've got in store for you this week. Don't forget to save your work/send us some pics of it so we can see all the great things you're doing at home.
Missing you all! Stay safe!
Hopefully see you soon,
Don't forget we have PE on Mondays and Thursdays so you'll need to wear your PE kit to school on those days.
Please make sure you have a water bottle, your pencil case and your school journal packed in your bag every day for school. The weather is also starting to turn a little colder now so make sure you have your school jumper and/or a coat with you now. If there any issues please let school know so that we can discuss this.
We have had so many children reach their emerald award on epraise and now some are reaching their sapphire award! You have all been working so hard to achieve them. Make sure you log in to epraise (both children and parents/carers) to see how you're getting on or if you need to contact any of your teachers. See the link below for support on how to access epraise.
Now that you are in year 5, we want to increase your independent learning to benefit you. Your homework will be given out every Wednesday and you will have until the following Wednesday to complete your tasks. It will consist of:
- 15 minutes of reading, 5 days a week (record all reading in your reading records)
- 15 minutes x 2 days, to learn your spellings
- 20 minutes x 2 days of maths
- 15 minutes x 2 days of SPAG in your CGP books
Check your English and maths set page and epraise for your next pieces of homework.
