It’s Miss Brenwald here! Miss Digget’s baby is due very soon so I will be taking care of you all. I hope you had a great half term and spent time in the sunshine ☀️.
I can see some of you are completing your daily MyMaths work, remember I can comment on your work once it is complete. It’s so important to keep reading and as of this week there is a daily reading focus task.
I want to reassure you that the key worker children returning to school this is week are completing exactly the same work as you are at home. I’m excited about this week as we have video clips from Oak National Academy to help you get with your learning.
If you have any questions please e-praise message me.
Welcome to 5JD's Class Page
Message for 5JD - Week Beginning 18th May
I have really enjoyed receiving your work on epraise and being able to send you some comments - I have missed teaching you and it is a pleasure to read and mark your home learning.
Remember to send your weekly writing task to me on epraise (if you want to) . Please look out for this on the 5JD Class Page in our 'Hall of Fame' and in the Home Learning gallery.
Lots of you have started to complete your MyMaths work too. I can see how hard you are trying from your impressive scores. If you find it challenging, you can have as many tries as you want- I can see that some of you have had a few tries so well done for your determination!
Just to make you aware, due to being in school the week beginning 25th May, the Year 5 team will be having their half-term break next week. We will still respond to your messages and home learning, but it might take a little longer than usual.
Keep smiling and doing all that superb home learning! I know that it is hard to work at home but you are all doing an excellent job (and so are your wonderful parents and carers when they are helping you).
Miss Diggett 🌈
Message for 5JD on 11th May:
I am really missing seeing you all every day. I hope that you are all staying safe and keeping well at home.
As you now all have your own epraise accounts, you will be able to send a message to me and I can reply. I am looking forward to being able to speak to you more easily. If you have any questions about your home learning or would like to discuss something with me, you can message me on epraise . Also, there will be a writing task each week in your home learning where you can upload your typed work on epraise messenger or take a photo of your writing and send it in a message. I am really looking forward to seeing your work. You will find examples of home learning already submitted in our 'Hall of Fame' and I will ensure this is updated every week - I have been really impressed so far by the quality of the submissions I have received - well done! Also, if there are any additional activities you are proud of, you can upload a photograph or other file to share this with me.
I have sent you all an epraise message with your MyMaths log in. As well as the home learning on the website, we have set you a daily My Maths task to complete. It is great to see that some of you have successfully completed the test task! You will receive a comment from me when you have completed a task.
Keep smiling and keep up doing all the superb home learning! I look forward to seeing more examples of this in the coming weeks. I know that it is hard to work at home but you are all doing an excellent job (and so are your wonderful parents and carers when they are helping you).
Keep in touch and stay safe,
Miss Diggett 🌈
